EurOMA27 Conference

Early Career Workshop

The EurOMA Early Career Workshop is targeted at emerging Operations & Supply Chain Management (O&SCM) academics in general and alumni of the EurOMA Doctoral Seminar.

This workshop was conceived to support the career development of early career scholars in the field of O&SCM by acknowledging and targeting some of the major priorities, challenges and trade-offs that they face. The aim is to facilitate open discussion, guided by experienced academics, and offer practical advice which also addresses some of the skills gaps that have been identified by scholars early in their career. Themes covered can include supervising Doctoral and Masters level students, managing academic leadership and service, teaching and pedagogical innovation in OSCM, and funding your research and enhancing its impact. At the same time, the workshop aims to develop the community of early career O&SCM scholars and strengthen the O&SCM community. One theme will form the basis of the workshop each year.
